Stephanie Loftin
Stephanie came to Athens in 1993 and obtained an A.B. in English from the University of Georgia in 1995. Until 1999, when she had her first child, she worked various jobs that helped pay the bills but left her very unsatisfied. After leaving a career to become a stay-at-home mom (of eventually two) and then doing part-time work from home, Stephanie vowed to herself not to take another job unless she found one that meant something more than the paycheck! This is what she has found in WoW! Boot Camp!
Stephanie worked with her own personal trainer for two years before becoming certified through the World Instructor Training School. She learned the value of having an appointed time as a motivational tool in fitness. Stephanie loves to play tennis and can be found on courts around town many days of the week and has been to four state tennis tournaments in the past 3 years. She has finished in the top of her age group in several 5ks, ran her first half marathon on Thanksgiving 2008, and plans to complete her first triathlon this summer. Stephanie has been inspired by her boot campers to take on new challenges and hopes to participate in her first triathlon next summer.
Stephanie lives and shares April’s enthusiasm for working out in the great outdoors and is dedicated to helping the women in her classes reach their fitness goals. While our motto is “WoW!…more than just a workout,” Stephanie likes to add, “YOU…more than just a participant!”
